This documentary, created by Fairfield alumni Park Lytle '21, breaks down the process from the decision to produce [title of show], all the way to opening night. Learn about the structure of the pods, the formation of virtual presentation, and the actors understanding and analysis of character.
Episode 6: Dance & Movement
Choreographer Brad Roth works with the actors to create movement and dance sequences that help tell the story of the show while working within the limitations of separate actors who are only visible form the waist up.
Episode 5: Music
Musical Director Michael Ciavaglia takes us through the process of rehearsing and developing the music of [title of show] while being separated from the actors by pods. Get a closer look at how our actors perform and how Michael directs them in such a non-conventional musical presentation.

Julie Learson walks us through the unique and zany process of designing costumes for a virtual production, going in-depth on some of the more unique costume pieces in the show and the new obstacles we all faced in the process.

Our Video Engineer Park Lytle (21') showcases the techniques and processes of creating a live musical virtually. Take a look at the process of using OBS to design engaging and visually pleasing images that break away from the conventions of both traditional and virtual theatre.
