Hello! My name is Dominic Chila and I’m a freshman here at Fairfield. This is my second production in college, and I will be playing Richard Hannay in our show. I previously appeared in Mask Play as Tad, and before college I performed in over 10 musicals, notably The Music Man (Harold Hill), Seussical (The Cat in the Hat), and Newsies (Jack Kelly). I would like to thank God, my family, and my new friends here at Fairfield for helping to make this happen. I hope you all enjoy the show!
Hello! My name is Alyssa Suarez and I’m a junior Psychology major and Spanish minor. I am so excited to be a part of this year’s independent project of The 39 Steps. This process has been so rewarding and such a happy part of my life. Past TF credits include Project X (Actor), Pride and Prejudice (Assistant Stage Manager), and Eurydice (Little Stone). I’d like to thank my wonderful fellow cast and crew members for all their hard work and sharing their creativity with me. Enjoy the show!
Hi everyone! My name is Courtney Sabogal, and I am a sophomore double majoring in Communication and Public Relations with a minor in Marketing! I am beyond excited to be involved with my second year of Theatre Fairfield. I have previously performed in DollHouse (Julianna), Eurydice (Big Stone), and Playtime in Director's Cut '22 (Nicole). I am so grateful to be on stage with such talented and amazing people who I am also lucky to call my friends!! Thank you to everyone for your hard work in making this production come to life, especially our directors, Nora and Angelo as well as our stage manager Mikaela!!
Hi, I am Jacen Januseski and am a Junior Film Major attending Fairfield University. I am extremely excited to be part of this show because I do not have any previous theater experience, so I am ecstatic to showcase my abilities for the first time to this audience. I have lots of experience acting in student short films, so he I thrilled to carry his film acting experience over to live theater.
Hello! My name is Oliver Merriam and I am a freshman majoring in English. I will be a Clown in 39 Steps. This is both my second production with Theatre Fairfield and my second production ever. Recently, I played Ramon in Mask Play, and though these two shows are very different, they’ve both been very fun and rewarding experiences and I hope to do more with TF in the future!

Hello everyone! My name is Nora Jacobi and I am a Junior majoring in Marketing and Theatre. I am one of the two directors for this production of The 39 Steps: Even More Abridged as well as the Lighting Designer, Co-Scenic Designer, and Audience Relations Production Intern. My previous production credits with TF include: Stage Manager (Mask Play), Director (Lillian Goes to the Mirror; "Director's Cut '22"), Costume/Props Crew (Pride and Prejudice), Costume Crew (Project X), and Costume/Props Crew and Sound Board Op (The Thanksgiving Play). My previous acting credits with TF include: Christine (DollHouse), Loud Stone (Eurydice), Sugar (Tiny Beautiful Things), Lydia Bennet and Lady Catherine (Pride and Prejudice).
This has been such an amazing process and I truly have grown so much in every aspect. I want to thank my fellow director, Angelo Corsini, our wonderful stage manager, Mikaela Pratt, all of the fabulous actors and crew and the TF faculty. A huge thank you to Judy Primavera and the Jamie Hulley Arts Foundation for their kindness, support, and generous assistance in making this project possible! I'm so proud of the work we have all done on this project and I'm beyond excited to showcase this amazing show to you all! Relax, let loose, laugh, and enjoy!
Hi everyone! I’m Angelo Corsini, one of the two students directing this production of The 39 Steps: Even More Abridged. After making my directorial debut last year with Brett Neveu’s The Late Afternoon (Around 3:45 or so) Before Christmas as a part of Theatre Fairfield’s Director’s Cut'22 I am excited to present something more substantial. First and foremost, I would like to thank the other co-director and my close collaborator Nora Jacobi for her hard work and dedication towards this project, as well as Mikaela Pratt our stage manager who kept this production on track for success. I would also like to thank the Jamie Hulley Foundation for their financial support, as well as the entire cast and crew for gracing the stage with their talents and fun-loving personalities. I hope you enjoy this wild ride of a play just as much as Nora and I enjoyed making it!
Hi everyone! My name is Kylee Faulkner and this is my first time Tech Directing a show. I would like to thank Anne Kendall for her amazing mentorship through this process and for teaching me everything I know. I would also like to thank our fabulous directors, Nora and Angelo and wish everyone luck in the show!
Hi everyone! My name is Emily Sheridan and I am a Senior Communication major with minors in Theatre and Public Relations. I currently serve as Theatre Fairfield’s Marketing Production Intern and serving as the producer for this production. Previous Theatre Fairfield roles include Susan in Mask Play, Lord of The Underworld in Eurydice, Charlotte Lucas/ Mr. Bennet in Pride and Prejudice, Astronaut in Contact, as part of TF’s 2020 Director’s Cut, as well as Logan in The Thanksgiving Play. I have served as Props Assistant for Title of Show, and Front of House for Tiny Beautiful Things. I also directed A Change of Pace by Edward Pomerantz as part of Theatre Fairfield's 2022 Director’s Cut. I am very excited to be working on the production and hope you enjoy the show!
Jamie Monahan is an award-winning filmmaker, director, intimacy coordinator, and actress. Jamie executive produced, wrote, directed, and starred in the original sci-fi series LUCID, garnering a Best Pilot nomination at NYC Web Fest, digital distribution from DUST, and acceptance into the Sundance Institute TV Writing program. Jamie completed Level 1 and 2 of IDC’s Intimacy Coordinator training, fostering intimate safe spaces for performers. She is one of five USA Intimacy Coordinators listed on the SAG-AFTRA Intimacy Coordinator Pre-Registry. Jamie was the Intimacy Coordinator on the short films HEALING TREE, BETTY BITES BACK, and THE BIG 3-OH. She also worked as an intimacy coordinator on the feature film ESCAPING OHIO. Jamie is currently Intimacy Directing POWERHOUSE Off-Broadway and is excited to be working with Theatre Fairfield and Fairfield University as Intimacy Director for the 2022-2023 season.
Hi, my name is Mikaela Pratt and I'm a senior Religious Studies major with a double minor in Sociology and Art History, and I am the Tech Production Intern for Theater Fairfield, and the Stage Manager for 39 Steps. In previous productions with TF I've been on crews for various shows, like helping with dramaturgy in Love and Imagination and The Thanksgiving Play, run + props crew for The Thanksgiving Play, Stage Managing for Pride and Prejudice, Front of House for Eurydice, and Sound Board Operator for DollHouse. I was an actor in Director's Cut where I played Alex in The Late Afternoon (about 3:45 or so) Before Christmas in 2022, Mask Play in 2023 where I played Alex (different character).
Hi everyone! My name is Mia Gorczynski and I am a sophomore Nursing major. I am part of the props crew for 39 Steps and last year I served as the head of the wardrobe crew for Theatre Fairfield's production of Tiny Beautiful Things. I would like to give a shoutout to our wonderful directors Nora and Angelo for all their hard work. I am beyond excited to be working with such a great group of talented actors and help this production come to life.
Hi! My name is Katharine and I am a sophomore Women, Gender, and Sexuality and Communication double major. My past Theatre Fairfield credits include Letter Writer in Tiny Beautiful Things, Lillian in Lillian Goes to the Mirror from “Director’s Cut'22”, and Nora in Dollhouse. This is my second time being the Front of House Manager for Theatre Fairfield—it’s a great job and I love being part of productions in a different way than just being onstage.
