Hi! My name is Zachary Cirillo and I am playing Percy Jackson in this production. I am a Freshman at Fairfield University and I'm thrilled to be making my Theatre Fairfield debut! Past credits include: Something Rotten (Nigel Bottom), Frozen (Kristoff), The Drowsy Chaperone (Underling) and The Farnsworth Invention (Stan). I have also performed with professional choral ensembles at Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden and Lincoln Theatre (Washington, D.C.). I would love to thank the cast and crew members for all their hard work, the directors for pushing me to be my best, and my friends and family for their support throughout this process!
Hi, I'm Anthony Lupercio, a sophomore Music major. My previous TF credits include Orpheus in Eurydice, a Letter Writer in Tiny Beautiful Things, and the Foley Sound Artist for The 39 Steps: Even More Abridged. After my first few productions with Theatre Fairfield went so well, I was excited to try it out once more for their spring production of The Lightning Thief. Working with some familiar faces and brand new ones as well, I’m excited to gain more experience as an actor and a member of the Theatre Fairfield community!
Hi! My name is Katharine and I am a sophomore Women, Gender, and Sexuality and Theatre double major with a minor in Communication. My past Theatre Fairfield credits include Letter Writer in Tiny Beautiful Things, Lillian in Lillian Goes to the Mirror from “Director’s Cut”, and Nora in DollHouse. I also have worked as the Front of House Manager for Theatre Fairfield this year. It has been so great working with everyone involved in this show. The production team, crew, and cast are so special and I am incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to work with all of them. Annabeth is a very fun character to play and it has been so cool to figure her out! Enjoy the show!!
Hello! My name is Dominic Chila and I’m a freshman here at Fairfield. This is my third production in college, and I will be playing Luke and Ares (among others) in our show. I previously appeared in The 39 Steps: Even More Abridged as Richard Hannay and Mask Play as Tad, and before college I performed in over 10 musicals, notably The Music Man (Harold Hill), Seussical (The Cat in the Hat), and Newsies (Jack Kelly). I would like to thank God, my family, and my new friends here at Fairfield for helping to make this happen. I hope you all enjoy the show!
Hi everyone! I am Nora Jacobi and I am a junior with a double major in Theatre and Marketing. I am also serving as Theatre Fairfield's Audience Relations Production Intern. Past TF credits include Christine in DollHouse, Sugar in Tiny Beautiful Things, Loud Stone in Eurydice, Lydia Bennet and Lady Catherine in Pride and Prejudice, Wardrobe Crew for Project X, and Wardrobe Crew, Sound Crew, and Turktok actor in The Thanksgiving Play. I also directed and designed lighting for The 39 Steps: Even More Abridged in January and directed Lillian Goes to the Mirror for "Director’s Cut" last year. I've been acting since I was five years old and I'm so honored to get to continue to explore here at Fairfield. This process has been so incredibly exciting and getting two play two drastically different characters has been challenging in the best ways. There are not enough words to thank the amazing team of faculty and students we have working on this project! I can't wait for everyone to have so much fun with us in the theatre!
Hi, my name is Angelo Corsini and I am a junior and a Communication and Theatre double major. This year, I am also the Dramaturgy Production Intern for TF. I am delighted to return to Theater Fairfield’s stage in this show after acting in the company’s production of DollHouse as Evan this fall and Pride and Prejudice as Mr. Collins, Wickham, and Ms. Bingley back in spring of 2022. In the fall of 2022, I also directed The Late Afternoon (Around 3:45 or so) Before Christmas as part of last year’s "Director’s Cut" and The 39 Steps: Even More Abridged this past fall. Before coming to Fairfield, I acted for community theaters across Long Island for seven years. I would like to thank Sean, Jamie, Michael, Audra, the stage management team and my fellow cast members for making the rehearsal process such a positive experience, as well as my family and theatre mentors for their unwavering support!
Hi everyone, my name is Samantha and I'm a sophomore this year at Fairfield U. I am a Political Science major and Theatre and Psychology minors. Since my freshman year I have been involved in run crew for "Directors Cut", costumes/make up crew for Eurydice, and ASM for DollHouse, and a Clown in The 39 Steps: Even More Abridged. I am so excited to watch this show come to life. I’d also like to thank my friends and TF family for pushing me out of my comfort zone. Hi everyone! My name is Emily Sheridan and I am a senior Communication major with minors in Theatre and Public Relations. I currently serve as Theatre Fairfield’s Marketing Production Intern. Previous Theatre Fairfield roles include Nasty Interesting Person in Eurydice, Charlotte Lucas/Mr. Bennet in Pride and Prejudice, Astronaut in Contact, as part of TF’s 2020 Director’s Cut, as well as Logan in The Thanksgiving Play. I have served as Producer for The 39 Steps: Even More Abridged, Props Assistant for [Title of Show], and Front of House for Tiny Beautiful Things. I also directed A Change of Pace by Edward Pomerantz as part of Theatre Fairfield's 2022 "Director’s Cut". I am very excited to be working on the production and hope you enjoy the show!
Hello everyone! My name is Anyah Cruz and I am a Health Studies major. I am currently a freshman at the Fairfield Bellarmine campus & I play the roles of Silena & Charon in The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical. In my junior year of high school, I have played as Shawnette for the Homeroom musical. I want to send a huge thanks to the team & faculty of Theatre Fairfield for giving me the best experience I’ve had in theatre thus far!
Our Team:
Dr. Edgecomb is joining the Theatre Program faculty as an Associate Professor in fall 2023. He is a hybrid scholar/artist who teaches broadly across theatre and performance studies as well as queer/intersectionality studies. His research focuses on LGBTQ+ theatre and performance history in a global context, queer theory and performance ethnography. Sean also creates contemporary queer folk paintings under the pseudonym Peter Kunt as an extension of his scholarly/performance work.
Michael is a vocal performance specialist on the music faculty at Fairfield University. He teaches music history in the classroom as well as voice in the studio. He is a frequent guest conductor of the Fairfield University Glee Club and Chamber Singers. He is Artistic Director of the Connecticut Chamber Choir, and chorus master of On Site Opera in New York City, where he recently led a chorus of individuals who had experienced homelessness in Amahl and the Night Visitors. In addition, he has served on the music staffs of the Cincinnati Opera and the New York Choral Society. He has regularly prepared choruses for the Richard Tucker Music Foundation Gala and for the New York performances of superstar tenor Andrea Bocelli, and is in frequent demand as a choral preparer in New York City. He has conducted and served as chorus master and head of music of the Asheville Lyric Opera in North Carolina. He holds a DMA from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
Audra Bryant is a NYC based Director, Choreographer, and Educator. Originally from Kansas, Audra trained in classical ballet, classical voice, and jazz dance prior to pursuing a bachelor of fine arts in Musical Theatre from the University of Oklahoma. Director/Choreography credits include Cabaret, Into the Woods, Matilda, and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (Black Rock Theatre), SpongeBob SquarePants, Finding Nemo Jr. (Music Theatre of Wichita). Choreographer/Associate Choreographer credits are Annie, The Little Mermaid (Westport Country Playhouse); Mary Poppins (Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma). She has also directed, choreographed, movement coached, and assistant directed on projects for Maid & Prince Productions and on music videos for artists such as Bruce Sudano, Lenii, Nick Deutsch, Rachel King, Jerusha, and Michael Perrie Jr. She continues to collaborate with artists in NYC, and to take on various projects for stage and screen as choreographer and director. Lynne Porter is a theatre professor and the Resident Designer of Theatre Fairfield. At Fairfield, Lynne has designed numerous productions such as Avenue Q, Stop Kiss, Rhinoceros, The Rocky Horror Show, She Stoops to Conquer, Lend Me a Tenor, and Waiting for Godot. In addition to her work with Theatre Fairfield, Lynne has designed extensively with Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble, where she is an Affiliated Artist of the Ensemble. She has also designed for CT Lyric Opera, Harrisburg Shakespeare Festival, Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre, Arden Theatre, Horizon Theatre, Penobscot Theatre, and the Maine Shakespeare Festival, among others. Lynne is also the Founding Artistic Director of Shakespeare Ventures, a professional classical summer theatre, where she both directed and designed. As Costume Director for the Fairfield University Theatre Program, Julie designs and builds costumes for TF productions, manages the costume shop, and mentors student theatre artists and technicians. Her TF costume design credits include Silent Sky, The Taming of the Shrew, Dead Man’s Cellphone, The Arabian Nights, and The Rocky Horror Show, among many others. She also collaborated with Shakesperience Productions in Waterbury, CT, costuming Shakespeare from Comedy of Errors to King Lear, as well as The Sword in the Stone and Alice in Wonderland. Before coming to Fairfield, Julie was an Assistant Professor of English at Westfield State College, the Assistant Costume Designer at Chicago’s The Goodman Theatre, and a freelance costume designer at Organic Theatre Company (Mere Mortals), Pyewackett Theatre (The Belle of Amherst), and Emerald City Children’s Theatre (The Wizard of Oz). She holds an MFA in Costume Design from Northwestern University, and a BA in Theatre and English Literature from the University of New Hampshire.
Lynne Chase (lighting designer) has lit over 200 productions nationwide. Highlights include Doubt (Portland Stage Company), As You Like It and Enchanted April (Pioneer Theatre), Light Up the Sky and La Bête (Two River Theatre) and Speed-the-Plow and Over the Tavern (Merrimack Repertory Theatre.) She has spent 17 summers working in rotating repertory and counts among her favorite shows Pericles, King Lear, Hamlet and The Glass Menagerie (Theater at Monmouth.) She has worked extensively at Horse Cave Theatre and Penobscot Theatre Company (Art, Betrayal, The Crucible, and Skylight among others.) Memorable shows at Fairfield include Arabian Nights, Cabaret, Three Sisters, Romeo & Juliet, Dancing at Lughnasa, Avenue Q and The Spitfire Grill. Anne is the Technical Director and Production Manager for Theatre Fairfield. She also teaches courses in Entertainment Technology, Prop Construction, and Lighting Design.
Jamie Monahan is an award-winning filmmaker, director, intimacy coordinator, and actress. Jamie completed Levels 1, 2, and 3 of IDC’s Intimacy Coordinator training, fostering intimate safe spaces for performers. She is currently listed on the SAG-AFTRA Intimacy Coordinator Pre-Registry. Jamie intimacy coordinated the short films: ONLY THE DEAD, IN THE NIGHT, HEALING TREE, BETTY BITES BACK, THE BIG 3-OH, and CRIMSON WAVE to name a few. She also worked as the intimacy coordinator on the feature films ESCAPING OHIO and I'LL FIND YOU. Jamie intimacy directed POWERHOUSE Off-Broadway in October 2022 and is in her second year as an adjunct professor at Fairfield University working with Theatre Fairfield as the intimacy director for their 2023-2024 season.
Hi, my name is Mikaela Pratt and I'm a senior Religious Studies major with a double minor in Sociology and Art History, and I am the Tech Production Intern for Theater Fairfield, and Assistant Stage Manager for The Lightning Thief. In previous productions with TF I've been on crews for various shows, like helping with dramaturgy in Love and Imagination and The Thanksgiving Play, run + props crew for The Thanksgiving Play, Stage Managing for Pride and Prejudice, Hront of House for Eurydice, Sound Board Operator for DollHouse, and Stage Manager for The 39 Steps: Even More Abridged. I was an actor in "Director's Cut" where I played Alex in The Late Afternoon (About 3:45 or So) Before Christmas in 2022, Mask Play in 2023 where I played Alex (different character).
Jessie Lizotte is a proud alumna of the Theatre Fairfield program. Previous design credits include The Thanksgiving Play (Theatre Fairfield), and Twelfth Night (Shakesperience Productions). She was previously the resident scenic designer for Music Theatre of Connecticut's 2019 and 2020 seasons (Ragtime, Steel Magnolias, Sylvia, Fully Committed, RFK, and It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play). She is currently the resident scenic designer for The Fairfield Prep Players (Little Shop of Horrors, Puffs, Pippin, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Something Rotten). Reuniting with Lynne Porter to assist in her design has been an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
