Our Actors:
Hi everyone! My name is Lillie Kortrey. I am a senior History major with a minor in Theatre. I am currently serving as Theatre Fairfield’s Dramaturgy Production Intern. I am so excited to be playing Eurydice in my last TF show! My past Theatre Fairfield credits include Jane Bennet in Pride and Prejudice, a Letter Writer in Tiny Beautiful Things, and Jill and the “In Love'' monologue in Love and Imagination. I have also served as the stage manager in The Thanksgiving Play, video crew for Project X, and wardrobe crew for Fortinbras and Titus Andronicus. I have also recently directed Kent R. Brown’s Playtime as part of Theatre Fairfield's 2022 Director’s Cut. Playing Eurydice has been a fun challenge and I have learned so much from her. I admire her ability to discover herself despite the obstacles, all while experiencing love, loss, and grief. Eurydice is truly someone special and I know audiences will discover that when they come to see our show!
Hi everyone! My name is Emily Sheridan and I am a junior Communication major with minors in Theatre and Public Relations. I currently serve as Theatre Fairfield’s Audience Relations Production Intern. Previous Theatre Fairfield roles include Charlotte Lucas/ Mr. Bennet in Pride and Prejudice, Astronaut in Contact, as part of TF’s 2020 Director’s Cut, as well as Logan in The Thanksgiving Play. I have served as Props Assistant for [Title of Show], and Front of House for Tiny Beautiful Things. I also directed A Change of Pace by Edward Pomerantz as part of Theatre Fairfield's 2022 Director’s Cut. I am very excited to be working on the production and hope you enjoy the show!
Hi everyone! I am Nora Jacobi and I am a sophomore with a double major in Theatre and Marketing. I am serving as Theatre Fairfield's Marketing Production Intern and am playing Loud Stone. Past TF credits include Sugar in Tiny Beautiful Things, Lydia Bennet and Lady Catherine in Pride and Prejudice, Wardrobe Crew for Project X, and Wardrobe Crew, Sound Crew, and Turktok actor in The Thanksgiving Play. I also directed Lillian Goes to the Mirror for Director’s Cut last semester. Being a part of the iconic trio of stones has been such a blast and I can't wait for people to come have a laugh with us!
Hello! I’m Alyssa Suarez and I am a sophomore Psychology major. I am beyond excited to be acting in Fairfield’s production of Eurydice. Past TF credits include Project X (Actor) and Pride and Prejudice (Assistant Stage Manager). I would like to thank my outstanding fellow cast and crew members for all their hard work. The opportunity to share in their creativity is an experience I am so insanely grateful for, and I cannot wait for the audience to see it come to life. Enjoy the show!
Hi, I'm Anthony Lupercio, a first-year Music major. My previous TF credits include a Letter Writer in Tiny Beautiful Things. After my first production with Theatre Fairfield went so well, I was excited to try it out once more for their spring production of Eurydice. Working with some familiar faces and brand new ones as well, I’m excited to gain more experience as an actor and a member of the Theatre Fairfield community!
Hi, my name is Courtney Sabogal and I am a first-year double majoring in communication and public relations! I am so excited to be involved with my second Theatre Fairfield production after acting in Director's Cut last semester and to be on stage with such talented people!! I am Ben Dressel and I am a Freshman with a major in Social Work. I am excitedly playing the Father and making Theatre Fairfield debut! Some of my past credits include Les Mis (Javert), Much Ado About Nothing (Benedick), Let It Be (Jude). It is a great honor to be sharing the stage with this flawless cast and a special thanks to my whole family for their continued support!

Dr. Marti LoMonaco is Professor and former longtime Director of the Theatre Program, Co-Producer of Theatre Fairfield, and Resident Theatre Director―recent productions include Pride & Prejudice, a delightful 21st century feminist version of Austen’s novel by Kate Hamill; [title of show], the Broadway musical produced online during the height of the pandemic, Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Anne Carson’s adaptation of Sophokles’s Antigone and Rachel Crothers’s A Man’s World. She is the author of many articles and two books, most recently Summer Stock: An American Theatrical Phenomenon (Palgrave), which was a Choice Outstanding Academic Title; editor of “Theatre Exhibitions,” volume 33 of Performing Arts Resources and, since 2010, New England Theatre in Review” for New England Theatre Journal. She curated Bravo! A Century of Theatre in Fairfield County, a theatre history exhibition for the Fairfield Museum and History Center (Fairfield, CT), and has
curated two performance series for the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts, 21st Century Women and Ancient Greek Tragedy and It’s A Man’s World, and launched its new mobile bookstore for which she continues to serve as curator. She teaches Directing, World Theatre courses (history, theory, criticism, literature), American Drama, American
Women Playwrights, Acting, and Graduate American Studies courses. She is also a Kripalu Certified Yoga Instructor, RYT-200, which is integral to actor training for her productions. She holds a doctorate in Performance Studies from New York University. Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl marks her final production for Theatre Fairfield as she will retire at the end of this semester after 34 years at the university.
Karl G. Ruling’s design work for Theatre Fairfield includes scenery for Pride & Prejudice and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, and scenery and lighting for Antigone, Measure for Measure, The Glass Menagerie, Machinal, As You Like It, and Hair. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He is the technical editor for the Entertainment Services and Technology Association’s journal Protocol and is a regular contributor to The New England Theatre Journal.
DMA, conductor, vocal coach, and educator, is active at the professional, university, and community worlds of music-making. He has taught at Fairfield
since 2006, both in the classroom and vocal studio. Dr. Ciavaglia has produced solo and group vocal recitals which have included a wide variety of repertoire. The streamed performances of [title of show] from the Quick Center’s Black Box theatre were his debut as music director with Theatre Fairfield. Previously, he has served as a musical consultant for Theatre Fairfield productions, composing music for Philip Glass Buys a Loaf of Bread in 2020. Dr. Ciavaglia has also maintained a long-time association with the Fairfield University Glee Club, conducting the ensemble at home, in the region, and abroad, and serving as a vocal technician. In the professional sphere, Dr. Ciavaglia has served on the music/coaching staffs of companies including the Cincinnati Opera, the Asheville Lyric Opera, and On
Site Opera in New York City. He is the artistic director of the Connecticut Chamber Choir. With the Asheville Lyric Opera, he conducted the premiere of When Adonis Calls, by New York composer Clint Borzoni, with words by John de los Santos. With On Site Opera, where he is chorus master, he has cast
and prepared a chorus of individuals who have experienced homelessness for their annual productions of Amahl and the Night Visitors at Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen; and has expanded his work with these singers as the founding conductor of the Breaking Ground Ensemble. Dr. Ciavaglia’s degrees in conducting and vocal performance are from Temple University in Philadelphia, and the College- Conservatory of Music (CCM) in Cincinnati.
Jamie Monahan is an award-winning filmmaker, director, intimacy coordinator, and actress. Jamie executive produced, wrote, directed, and starred in the original sci-fi series LUCID, garnering a Best Pilot nomination at NYC Web Fest, digital distribution from DUST, and acceptance into the Sundance Institute TV Writing program. Jamie completed Level 1 and 2 of IDC’s Intimacy Coordinator training, fostering intimate safe spaces for performers. She is one of five USA Intimacy Coordinators listed on the SAG-AFTRA Intimacy Coordinator Pre-Registry. Jamie was the Intimacy Coordinator on the short films HEALING TREE, BETTY BITES BACK, and THE BIG 3-OH. She also worked as an intimacy coordinator on the feature film ESCAPING OHIO. Jamie is currently Intimacy Directing POWERHOUSE Off-Broadway and is excited to be working with Theatre Fairfield and Fairfield University as Intimacy Director for the 2022-2023 season.
As Costume Director for the Fairfield University Theatre Program, Julie designs and builds costumes for TF productions, manages the costume shop, and mentors student theatre artists and technicians. Her TF costume design credits include Silent Sky, The Taming of the Shrew, Dead Man’s Cellphone, The Arabian Nights, and The Rocky Horror Show, among many others. She also collaborated with Shakesperience Productions in Waterbury, CT, costuming Shakespeare from Comedy of Errors to King Lear, as well as The Sword in the Stone and Alice in Wonderland. Before coming to Fairfield, Julie was an Assistant Professor of English at Westfield State College, the Assistant Costume Designer at Chicago’s The Goodman Theatre, and a freelance costume designer at Organic Theatre Company (Mere Mortals), Pyewackett Theatre (The Belle of Amherst), and Emerald City Children’s Theatre (The Wizard of Oz). She holds an MFA in Costume Design from Northwestern University, and a BA in Theatre and English Literature from the University of New Hampshire.
Lynne Porter is a theatre professor and the Resident Designer of Theatre Fairfield. At Fairfield, Lynne has designed numerous productions such as Avenue Q, Stop Kiss, Rhinoceros, The Rocky Horror Show, She Stoops to Conquer, Lend Me a Tenor, and Waiting for Godot. In addition to her work with Theatre Fairfield, Lynne has designed extensively with Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble, where she is an Affiliated Artist of the Ensemble. She has also designed for CT Lyric Opera, Harrisburg Shakespeare Festival, Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre, Arden Theatre, Horizon Theatre, Penobscot Theatre, and the Maine Shakespeare Festival, among others. Lynne is also the Founding Artistic Director of Shakespeare Ventures, a professional classical summer theatre, where she both directed and designed. Over the past few years, Lynne has done extensive research on creativity and the design process, culminating in her book, Unmasking Theatre Design which was recently published by Focal Press. lynneporter.com
Anne is the Technical Director and Production Manager for Theatre Fairfield. She also teaches courses in Entertainment Technology, Prop Construction, and Lighting Design.
Lynne Chase (lighting designer) has lit over 200 productions nationwide. Highlights include Doubt (Portland Stage Company), As You Like It and Enchanted April (Pioneer Theatre), Light Up the Sky and La Bête (Two River Theatre) and Speed-the-Plow and Over the Tavern (Merrimack Repertory Theatre.) She has spent 17 summers working in rotating repertory and counts among her favorite shows Pericles, King Lear, Hamlet and The Glass Menagerie (Theater at Monmouth.) She has worked extensively at Horse Cave Theatre and Penobscot Theatre Company (Art, Betrayal, The Crucible, and Skylight among others.) Memorable shows at Fairfield include Arabian Nights, Cabaret, Three Sisters, Romeo & Juliet, Dancing at Lughnasa, Avenue Q and The Spitfire Grill. Brad Roth, LMFT, MA, (Choreographer/Movement Coach) taught dance at Fairfield University from 2000-2015. He has collaborated with Dr. LoMonaco on many plays, including most recently the Broadway musical Title of Show, and Kate Hamill’s Pride and Prejudice. Mr. Roth holds Masters degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy (SCSU) and Dance and Movement Studies (Wesleyan University), and a B.A. in Economics (Cornell University). A special thank you to the cast and crew, and to Dr. LoMonaco, for making dancing so central so many productions through the years.

Hello! My name is Angelo Corsini and I am a sophomore with a major in Communication and a minor in Theatre. For this spring's production of Eurydice, I am working as the sound board operator. In past Theatre Fairfield productions I have acted as the Assistant Stage manager for The Thanksgiving Play, an actor for Pride and Prejudice playing Mr. Collins, Wickham, and Caroline Bingley, and a director for Director's Cut 2022. Margot Weiss is a CT-based stage manager. She graduated from Conn College in 2020 and has been working ever since. She has recently worked on Sunset Boulevard (MTC), Jesus Christ Superstar (ACT), and Midsummer Night's Dream (Shakespeare on the Sound). If you can't find her in a theater, she's making lattes and cappuccinos at the Farmer's Grind coffee shop. Thanks to the cast, crew, and faculty!
Hi, my name is Mikaela Pratt and I'm a junior religious studies major with a double minor in sociology and art history, and I am the tech production intern for Theater Fairfield. In previous productions with TF I've been on crews for various shows, like helping with dramaturgy in Love and Imagination and the Thanksgiving Play, run + props crew for the Thanksgiving Play, and Stage Managing for Pride and Prejudice. I was an actor in Director's Cut where I played Alex in The Late Afternoon (about 3:45 or so) Before Christmas.

Hello! My name is Kathleen Morris and I am a first-year student at Fairfield University. I am studying Communication and serve as the Assistant News Editor for The Mirror. Recently, I had the opportunity to participate in a staged reading of the wish in Dr. LoMonaco's American Women Playwrights course. I am thrilled to be a member of the props crew for Theatre Fairfield's Eurydice.
It has been exciting to be part of the behind-the-scenes aspect of the production, adding a new layer to my lifelong love of the performing arts. I hope you enjoy the show!
My name is Elizabeth Thibault and I am a first-year Nursing major. I am on the paint crew for Eurydice and this is my first time working on a Theatre Fairfield show, but I hope to continue working on more in the future! I am so excited to be a part of the TF community this semester and grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Eurydice!
Hi all! My name is Andrew Margaritis and I am a first-year Music and Management double major. My primary instrument is guitar, but I also play electric bass and sing with Bensonians Acapella. I am playing bass in the pit, and I am excited to experience my first show with Theatre Fairfield. I have a very diverse musical background. On campus, I play bass and guitar in the University Pep band and with Music Ministry at Egan Chapel. In the past, I have played in the pit for two musicals and in various rock/metal shows through the School of Rock franchise.
Hi everyone! My name is Elizabeth Messier and I’m a freshman majoring in music. My main instrument is viola, but I also play piano. I will be playing viola in the pit, and I’m so excited to experience my first Theatre Fairfield show! In the past, I’ve been named the principal violist of the Vermont Youth Orchestra, Vermont All-State Music Festival Orchestra, and the New England Music Festival Orchestra. In February 2022, I performed a concerto with the Vermont Youth Orchestra as a 2021-2022 senior soloist.
Hey! I’m Avery DiVincenzo, and I’m a sophomore majoring in English and minoring in Theater. I’ve been working with TF for two years - last year as assistant stage manager for Pride & Prejudice, as paint crew last fall, and this spring as makeup head for Eurydice.
Hi! My name is Ella Cimino and I’m a sophomore with a double major in Fashion Marketing and Business Analytics. I am the head of the wardrobe crew for this year’s spring production of Eurydice. I have been working along with Julie Learson in the costume department constructing costumes for the theater since last year.

Hi! I’m Gracie Galasso, a freshman Psychology major and one of the Assistant Stage Managers for Eurydice. I’ve loved acting from a young age, but my eyes were opened to a new realm of theatre last semester when I worked as the Production Stage Manager of “Director’s Cut”, and I’m so glad I did! It’s been really exciting watching this show come together and I’m so proud of everyone’s talent and hard work :)

Hi I’m Ryan Van Allen and I’m a freshman engineering major. I’m working the light board for the production of Eurydice, and I also worked the light board for the production of Tiny Beautiful Things during the first semester. Theatre was not a place I expected to end up going into this year, but it’s become a home I feel welcomed in.
