Special (the latter co-written with Lori Boyd) are a part of the current season at Best Med Rep. He is a regular writer for Flagpole Radio Cafe in Newtown, CT, particularly this season's sketch serial Blanche Cavuto, Psychic Detective.
Jackob Hofmann (Director) has been working professionally in theatre since the early 1990s. During this time he has directed Off-Broadway productions for Abingdon Theatre including the New York premieres of John Morogiello's Engaging Shaw
and Blame it on Beckett. Also a playwright, Jackob's play A Persistent Memory
was produced Off-Broadway at The Beckett Theatre in 2016 by MBL Productions. He serves as the Artistic Director for The Aurora Theatre Ensemble where he has produced, and directed, numerous NY Theatre Row productions and staged readings.
Jackob also works as a theatre professor for Fairfield University, Fairfield CT. Theatre Fairfield directing credits include: Rhinoceros, Avenue Q, Silent Sky, as well as multitude of original plays for TF’s ongoing series “Theatre In The Raw" (The Lucille Lortel Festival of New Plays).
He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in directing from The University of Hawaii at Manoa and a BFA in Musical Theatre from The New School.

THE CAST
Emily Ramsey
(Maggie) is a Senior Theatre and English double major with minors in Education and WGSS. Her previous roles in Theatre Fairfield include Ophelia in Fortinbras, Catherine in Proof, Henrietta Leavitt in Silent Sky
and Petruchio in The Taming of the Shrew. Emily most recently associate produced Women on Fire
with Broadway producer, Cheryl Wiesenfeld. She is excited to be part of a new play and to work with Jake and John!
Martha Hegley
(Stage Directions/Ensemble) is excited to be performing in Theatre Fairfield's production of
Authenticity. Martha is a rising senior at Fairfield University studying Elementary Education and Theatre. Most recently she played Polonious/Bernardo in
Fortinbras (Fairfield University). Her recent credits include Mrs.Roeder/Ms.Lee/Marie Curie in
Radium Girls (Westport Community Theatre), Anna in
Coffee Break (Fairfield University), Annie Cannon in
Silent
Sky (Fairfield University), and also performed in the East/West PlayFest one act
Hitch . She has loved being part of this wonderful company and thanks everyone who made this production such an incredible experience! She thanks her family and friends for always supporting her!
Kiersten Bjork (Alice) is a junior Theatre and English: Creative Writing double major with minors in Environmental Studies and Education from Branford, CT. Her previous roles with Theatre Fairfield include Percy in
The Spitfire Grill, Jo in
DUMBO, and Laertes/Polish Maiden in
Fortinbras. She is thrilled to be a part of
Authenticity and would like to thank everyone involved for all of the hard work that they have put into making this production happen.
Park Lytle (George Peele) is a junior majoring in Economics at Fairfield University. His recent credits with Theatre Fairfield include Claudius in
Fortinbras, Christopher Boone in
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Robert in
Proof, and Tiresias in
Antigone. He has also served as the Master Electrician for
Silent Sky and
The Spitfire Grill.
Jack Esposito (Philip Henslowew) is a Junior year Biology major from New York. He has never been in a play before and would like to thank everyone involved for their kindness, patience, and support. He hopes you enjoy the show!
Declan Quigley
(John Henslowe) is a sophomore at Fairfield University, and he is so excited to be a part of
Authenticity. This is his third production with Theatre Fairfield. His other Theatre Fairfield production credits include Hamlet and the Captain of the Army in
Fortinbras and Auggie in
Grunions as a part of the 2018 Director’s Cut. He thanks his family and friends for their support and is looking forward to continuing his journey with Theatre Fairfield in the future.
Paul Bova
(Will Shakespeare) is a senior and Environmental Studies major from Ridgefield, CT. He is a first-time actor and worked on carpentry crew, front of house, and box office for Fortinbras. He would like to thank everyone who has helped bring him to this point and everyone who has worked on the play!
Bronwyn Cullen
(Kristin) is a freshman at Fairfield and is a Communications major. She was involved in her high school’s drama program and this is her first production with Theater Fairfield. She is so excited to be performing again and would like to thank the amazing cast and crew for putting on such an awesome production. She also extends gratitude to her parents, her friends from home, and her friends from Fairfield for always being the most supportive people you could ask for. She sincerely hopes you enjoy this amazing production!
