Bring THEATRE to your Classroom
Bring Your Class to the THEATRE!
We choose plays with you in mind. We are committed to bringing important, complex, provocative drama to our campus community and we want you and your students to be a part of our work. The theatre experience is not complete without an audience and you are our audience.
Top 5 Reasons You Should Bring Theatre into Your Classroom
1. Theatre reinforces lessons taught in-class, allowing students to continue learning outside of the allotted class time.
2. Exposure to theatre promotes the growth of a more well-rounded student, embracing one of the core Jesuit values, cura personalis.
3. Theatre covers a wide spectrum of topics from history and philosophy, to chemistry and mathematics.
4. In-class workshops with Company members help students help understand scripts, and builds confident, encouraging students to be more willing to ask questions and engage.
5. Students who engage with theatre become more empathetic, gaining a heightened respect for others.
Interested in bringing your class to the theatre?
  • Each Theatre Fairfield production runs for a minimum of three performances, giving students plenty of options to attend. All main-stage productions run for six performances.
  • All performances are held on Fairfield University’s campus, requiring no additional off-campus travel.
  • All student tickets are only $5. (If students volunteer to be an usher for a performance, they will be able to see the show for free!)
